About us

Dushi Blends is a smoothie and juice kiosk on Caracasbaaiweg, the main road to Jan Thiel Beach. We serve fresh fruit blends to tourists and locals. We are small, new, and growing, which means the person we hire has real influence on how the place runs.

The role

As Batido Chef you are the face of Dushi Blends. On a typical shift you will:

• Prepare our signature smoothies and fresh juices to recipe
• Greet and serve customers in English, Spanish or Papiamentu
• Handle cash and card payments accurately
• Prep fruit, manage stock and keep the kiosk spotless
• Open or close the kiosk on your own once you're trained

What we're looking for

• Reliable — you show up, on time, and you say something when you can't
• Friendly and calm with customers, including when there's a queue
• You work clean: hygiene around fresh fruit is non-negotiable
• English is required. Spanish is a strong advantage — a large share of our customers are Spanish-speaking tourists. Papiamentu and Dutch are welcome
• Available on weekends and public holidays
• Your own car is a requirement. You need to get yourself to the kiosk — we don't arrange pick-ups — and you will occasionally collect stock or run to the supermarket for fruit and ice during a shift. A valid driving licence is required
• Experience in hospitality, retail or food service is welcome, but attitude matters more. We train you on the recipes and the equipment

Hours

We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions and we are genuinely flexible. You are not tied to fixed days — tell us your availability and we build the schedule around it. This works well if you are studying, have another job, or have caring responsibilities.
